The Martello Hotel in Bray asked us to create an identity for a new restaurant they were opening called Tower Bistro. We felt that heritage and history were an important part of what Tower Bistro needed to convey and so we needed to unearth something which was actually rooted in the local history of Bray rather than just a superficial imitation of a retro style.
By spending a few days taking photographs along Bray strand and around the village we were delighted to find that Bray has a rich Victorian heritage and so that is where we began to build our concepts from. Drawing from Victorian wrought iron elements and the old kiosks we created a Victorian inspired logo that was very Bray!
We created various menus and bill cards and in order to keep costs down a beautiful paper by Conquerer (Laid Pearl 160gsm) was chosen which could be printed on in-house daily.
