This piece was created in response to an open call from the inky heroes at Damn Fine Print, to design a 2 colour screen print poster inspired by music.

It was really difficult to choose the song… so many greats, but in the end I went with the absolutely best love song ever written – This Must Be The Place by Talking Heads. I tried to create movement in the typography to mirror David Byrnes quirky leg wave style of dance! and a New Wave graphic to float the home on. While it didn’t make the final selection it was bliss to work on!
